Short Bio
If robots are to become part of our social environment, we need to consider many different factors. Besides the appearance, movements, and the robot’s internal mechanisms, it is important to take the social and physical context into account. Additionally, if we want to design robots that become part of the lives of people in a positive way, we need responsible design practices. My aim is to investigate how space and movement are incorporated in the design of social robots.

I obtained a BSc degree in Mathematics at Utrecht University and a bachelor degree in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, both in The Netherlands. In August 2017 I graduated from the MSc Media Technology programme at Leiden University, The Netherlands.
