Short Bio
I am currently doing a PhD research in Body Language in Human-Robot interaction as a part of the Doctoral College TrustRobots. I will be investigating how emotions are expressed through body language as part of nonverbal communication, concentrating on body motion, postures, and gestures. The idea behind my PhD project is to develop a system that can recognize and express emotional body language behavior. I have acquired a joint Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Computer Vision and Robotics (VIBOT) and my master thesis research was on Socially Assistive Robots and Emotional Postures for robots. More specifically designing an interactive game with a humanoid robot for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
