Short Bio
Darja Stovea is a PhD researcher on the topic Body Language in Affective Human-Robot Interaction as a part of the Doctoral Collage TrustRobots. She is interested in investigating the functionalities of interpersonal interaction adaptation patterns expressed through body language as part of nonverbal communication, concentrating on postures, gestures, and other body movements. 

She received a joint Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Computer Vision and Robotics (VIBOT) and her master thesis research was on Socially Assistive Robots and Emotional Postures for robots. More specifically designing an interactive game with a humanoid robot for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is also part of the research group Humanoids in Architecture and Urban Spaces (http://h-a-u-s.org/).
